The Red Lion Wine House is a great little wine bar hidden away in a side street off Whiteladies Road. An excellent wine list and a lovely selection of cheese and charcuterie to nibble on. This is a wine bar with a difference. Step inside and you are greeted by a charming bar and seating area, where candles glowing in wine bottles create a welcoming atmosphere and flowers in jam-pots add a quirky touch. Through the back in a homely room, where the walls are lined with books and old pictures, you can sink into a comfortable sofa. Here you can relax and enjoy your choice of wine from the extensive wine list. If you need help to make your choice the knowledgeable proprietor is happy to guide you. The cheese and charcuterie counter offers a tempting selection of high quality delicacies. These are served on boards along with speciality bread and wonderful olive oil.
