Situated on the opposite side of the floating harbour to ss Great Britain, this is a great venue for sampling real ale. A changing specials menu is available plus sandwiches, home made pies and snacks. The Grain Barge, a converted barge owned by the Bristol Beer Factory, is a small independent brewery that uses locally grown malt and hops to make quality ales. There are two bars, one on the upper deck that gives a splendid view of the harbour. On a Friday night there is live music from 8pm.
