One of the pleasures of visiting a new city is discovering a bit about its' history and culture, but not everybody enjoys doing this by reading a guide or visiting a museum. Luckily there are numerous other ways of exploring Bristol.

Why not jump on board a boat to view the city and surrounding area from a different perspective. There are a variety of boat trips available, most of these operate from Easter until October from various jetties on the Harbourside. Or you could take a tour on a City Sightseeing bus - you can either stay on board for the whole trip or hop on and off to visit some of the many attractions along the way. Alternatively if you enjoy the outdoors you can take a guided walking or cycling tour or even hire a bike and do your own thing.
